Bottom line: This is a tool I developed to help our interns and residents in approaching their toolkit in pain management as it relates to advanced illness. It is based on clinical experience and incorporates aspects of evidence from the listed references. It is structured to be best printed out (double-sided) and folded into a booklet form.
